About Us

Todd Etter our founder started as a young boy watching his father and loving the construction/excavation field. Once he turned the age of 17 he went to work at Vernon Nagel where he learned all about the importance of quality. Sand Ridge Excavating was established in 2000 in which Todd worked full time at Vernon Nagel, farmed, and part time on his own business. The hard work he and family and friends put in to the business has payed off. We now are able to provide professional excavation services for both residential and commercial projects. We always strive for the greatest quality while still trying to have fair pricing. We are qualified with the Ohio Department of Transportation so we are able to bid on ODOT jobs. We are also a licensed septic system installer and keeps current on the regulations for installation of new septic systems as required by the Health Department. With this comes a lot of responsibility so you know our owners Todd and Carolyn Etter will always ensure the best service and quality to last a lifetime.
